Alicia Vikander is optimistic about filming the Tomb Raider film in 2021.
In an interview with EW.com, Vikander revealed how development and production discussions are evolving amidst the COVID pandemic.
“The plan was for us to start making one this year, of course due to the [pandemic] situation, that’s now very different,” Vikander told Good Morning America. “We’re still in discussions about it, so I hope we can probably get to it next year.”
Vikander took over the role of Lara Croft when Warner Bros decided to reboot the film franchise that once starred Angelina Jolie.
