The time to see the next quarter mile of Dominic Toretto’s (Vin Diesel) life is getting further away. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Universal’s F9 will now debut on May 28, 2021.
The ninth installment of the Fast and Furious franchise made the move from April 2021 to May 2021 due to No Time To Die taking over Easter Weekend. It’s a smart move on Universal’s part to avoid having two of their own blockbusters battling each other.
All of the usual suspects are returning for the film. Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Jordana Brewster, Ludacris, and Helen Mirren are back for more fast cars and crazy fights . New faces will include Michael Rooker, John Cena, Cardi B and Finn Cole.
Fast and the Furious 3 through 6 director Justin Lin is taking over the reigns again. The film is in good hands. Are you sad about F9’s move?
