Jamie Foxx Reprises Electro in Marvel’s Spider-Man 3

Is the multiverse on the horizon?! Jamie Foxx is set to reprise his role as Electro in Marvel’s Spider-Man 3, according to The Hollywood Reporter!

Foxx is bringing back the villain he portrayed in Sony’s 2014 The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Electro, also known as Max Dillon, is an electrical engineer at Oscorp Industries who becomes extremely powerful after being struck by lightning. He normally wears a green and yellow suit, but this concept was ditched in the feature film. The 2014 movie is known as a box office disappointment.

Currently, details of Foxx’s place in the overall story are being kept under lock and key. His appearance in the new film does bust wide open the possibility of the multiverse coming sooner rather than later.

Oscar winner Jamie Foxx is a busy man. He will appear in Pixar’s Soul later this year, and soon the remake of Spawn! Spider-Man 3 is on track for Nov. 5, 2021 release!
