Monica Barbaro Headlines New Spy Series

This upcoming TV series has a bonafide Hollywood veteran attached to it. Monica Barbaro will star alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in a new adventure spy series, according to Deadline.

Naturally, Barbaro is portraying Schwarzenegger’s daughter in the series. Details are slim on the exact plot, but the duo are spies traveling around the world getting in and out of trouble. Skydance Television is the studio behind the series.

Nick Santora serves as series creator. Schwarzenegger will co-executive produce the show with David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Bill Bost.

Barbaro’s recent credits include ABC’s Stumptown, NBC’s Chicago P.D, NBC’s Chicago Justice, and the upcoming Top Gun sequel. Her work on the military fighter jet drama is what prompted the studio’s interest in her. The show will begin pre-production soon.
