The zombies and supernatural creatures of Raccoon City are back! Sony Screen Gems’ Resident Evil reboot now has a full cast, according to Deadline!

Kaya Scodelario stars in the lead role of Claire Redfield! Hannah John-Kamen will portray the second lead Jill Valentine. Robbie Amell steps into the role of the male top dog Chris Redfield. Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker, Avan Jogia as Leon S. Kennedy, and Neal McDonough as William Birkin round out the company of actors.

Johannes Roberts will serve as director and writer of the script. He speaks on the film’s inspiration. ““With this movie, I really wanted to go back to the original first two games and re-create the terrifying visceral experience I had when I first played them whilst at the same time telling a grounded human story about a small dying American town that feels both relatable and relevant to today’s audiences.”

The story will follow the happenings in Raccoon City in 1998, much like the original video game from the same year.
