Rory Cochrane Cast In Amazon’s Invasion

Watch out for those UFO’s! Rory Cochrane has been cast in Amazon’s Invasion, according to Deadline!

He joins Oscar winner Octavia Spencer and Janina Gavankar in the project. The film follows a Marine who is desperately trying to save his young sons from a non-human danger. Their adventure proves to be extremely dangerous and forces the young brothers to grow up quickly. Cochrane will portray the lead FBI agent chasing after the family.

Michael Pearce will serve as director and co-writer with Joe Barton. Dimitri Doganis, Piers Vellacott, and Derrin Schlesinger are all producing the movie. No word on when the production begin.

Cochrane cut his teeth in acting on iconic films such as Dazed And Confused and Empire Records. After a stint on CSI: Miami, his most recent credits include films White Boy Rick and Antlers.
