The CW Unveils Javicia Leslie's Batwoman

Good things come to those who wait! The CW is finally giving everyone a glimpse at Batwoman and her new suit!

After a rollercoaster offseason, Batwoman seems to getting back on track. Lead actress Ruby Rose has now been replaced with Javicia Leslie. Leslie’s first shots donning the Batwoman suit are simply stunning.

She rocks a natural curly hairstyle with red highlights underneath the mask. The red matches her Batwoman symbol, partially red gloves, and cape. The suit fits like a glove, as she’s ready to battle for what’s left of Gotham City’s soul.

Leslie even took to Twitter to celebrate the event. She states “Blackwoman, I mean Batwoman is here“. Leslie is the first Black woman to become Batwoman! Representation at it’s finest! Batwoman will return in January 2021 only on The CW.
