Are You Afraid of the Dark to Return for Season 2

Nickelodeon is all in for more of a 1990’s series reboot! The network announced season 2 of Are You Afraid of the Dark will premiere in 2021!

Season 1 of the Are You Afraid of the Dark reboot premiered in 2019. The series performed well, and has been given the green light to continue. Season 2 will be six episodes and feature a new cast. The characters are Luke (Bryce Gheisar), Jai (Arjun Athalye), Hanna (Beatrice Kitsos), Gabby (Malia Baker), Seth (Dominic Mariche), and Connor (Parker Queenan).

In the new season, the kids share a story about a curse placed on their small seaside town. This introduces them to the main villain, the Shadowman. Will they be able to survive?

The series is based on the original 1990’s series of the same name. A group of teens, named the Midnight Society, would sit around a campfire and tell scary stories. The show ran from 1990-1996.
