Mohamed Diab to Direct Moon Knight Series

Marvel’s rise at Disney continues to soar. Deadline breaks Mohamed Diab is set to direct the upcoming Moon Knight series!

Diab will helm at least one episode in the series. His most recent credits include foreign film Eshtebak (Clash) and Cairo 678. He is known for his propulsive and prescient filmmaking.

The series recently found its lead in Star Wars alum Oscar Isaac. Jeremy Slate will serve as showrunner, producer, and head writer. The series is in pre-production.

Moon Knight is at least the fifth Marvel centric series for Disney. It comes in behind The Falcon and The Winter Soldier, WandaVision, Loki, and SheHulk. As with all the others, the series will somehow tie into the MCU.
