We didn’t have this one on our 2020 Bingo Card! Director James Gunn announces on Instagram Sylvester Stallone has joined The Suicide Squad!

Stallone is the newest actor in a list of big names to be attached to the project. Nathan Fillion, Idris Elba, and John Cena are all in the redux of The Suicide Squad. Furthermore, Margot Robbie, Viola Davis, Joel Kinnaman, and Jai Courtney will all reprise their respective roles from the previous film. Stallone is not attached to a particular character at this time.

Gunn’s post sings Stallone’s praises. He states “Always love working with my friend @officialslystallone. Despite Sly being an iconic movie star, most people still don’t have any idea what an amazing actor this guy is.

With Stallone being an action movie veteran, The Suicide Squad is right up his alley. Check out Gunn’s full post below. Drop us a line in the comments on Stallone’s casting!
