Tetris is the uber popular 80s video game, which involves stacking blocks to create complete lines. The film will focus on the story of how Tetris came to be the one of the most popular games ever. Egerton will portray Henk Rogers. He is the man responsible for securing the global rights to distribute Tetris on video game consoles.
Computer programmer Alexey Pajitnov created the game during the fall of the Iron curtain in the USSR. Jon S. Baird will occupy the director’s chair. Matthew Vaughn, Len Blavatnik, Gregor Cameron, and Gillian Berrie will co-produce. Noah Pink penned the screenplay.
The film will begin production in Scotland in December. Casting is still underway. Will you watch a Tetris movie?
