The CW Releases Batwoman Teaser

It’s a new day in Gotham City. The CW releases the first Batwoman season 2 featuring Javicia Leslie!

While the teaser is only 10 seconds, it sheds quite a bit of light on Leslie in the title role. In a dirty bathroom, a figure is seen frantically unzipping a backpack and pulling out an outfit. As the person gets dressed, it’s clear this is Batwoman. A side profile of Leslie as Batwoman holding her mask and red wig dances across the screen. Then, we hear her say, “Time to be powerful.”

Leslie is the new Batwoman after Ruby Rose departed the role and series this past summer. The superheroes alter ego will be Ryan Wilder. Wilder is described as the opposite of the Kate Kane. She is messy, silly and a free spirit.

Look for Batwoman to get a fresh start on January 17 only on The CW. Check out the full teaser below!
