WandaVision to Premiere January 2021

Marvel’s first TV series on Disney Plus is coming soon! Marvel announced WandaVision will debut on January 15, 2021!

It’s been quite the ride for the upcoming Marvel series on Disney Plus. The Coronavirus pandemic managed to delay the series until 2021. Originally, The Falcon and The Winter Soldier was supposed to be released first. However, it just wasn’t in the cards.

WandaVision will now take the lead to introduce the MCU to television. Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany reprise their roles as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch and Vision respectively. According to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige, the series will be “a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision, two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives, begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems.”

Kat Dennings, Randall Park, Kathryn Hahn, and Teyonah Parris complete the main cast. Jac Schaeffer is the showrunner. The series will also tie into Phase 4 of the MCU.
