Flag on the play! Deadline reports Wonder Woman 1984 could possibly debut on HBO Max shortly after a Christmas release or move to Summer 2021!

Warner Bros. is facing quite the dilemma with the sequel to 2017’s Wonder Woman. With the Coronavirus pandemic still going strong, theaters in major market are still closed. The film is currently set to hit theaters on Christmas Day, but that could change.

The studio is debating on whether to keep the December date and then place the film on HBO Max in January, or move to Summer 2021. Word around the industry is the option to push the film is more likely to happen.

With billions of dollars potentially on the line, the decision is huge. Warner Bros. has roughly six weeks left to come up to a solution, and it could come down as soon as Monday.

Would you rather watch Wonder Woman 1984 in theaters or on HBO Max?
