Rachel McAdams Joins Doctor Strange in The Multiverse of Madness

The surgeon is back in! Deadline reports Rachel McAdams is returning as Christine Palmer in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The last viewers saw of Palmer she was saving Doctor Strange’s (Benedict Cumberbatch) life. She’ll be involved in the follow up to the 2018 film, but to what extent is unknown. There are currently no plot details available for the new movie.

Nevertheless, Cumberbatch, Benedict Wong, and Chiwetel Ejiofor will reprise their roles as Doctor Strange, Wong, and Karl Mordo respectively. Elizabeth Olsen will star as Wanda Maximoff/Scarlet Witch to bust the multiverse wide open.

Comic film veteran Sam Raimi will direct. Production is currently set to begin in May. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness will hit theaters in March 25, 2022.
