Will David Gordon Green Direct Exorcist Sequel?

One of the scariest movies ever is getting sequel. Observer breaks David Gordon Green is in talks to direct the follow up to 1973’s The Exorcist!

Blumhouse Productions and Morgan Creek are the engines behind the project. Green is not stranger to the Horror genre. He directed 2018’s Halloween and the delayed 2021 sequel Halloween Kills. Halloween received both critical and fan acclaim for remaining true to the original film.

Currently, there are no story details available for the sequel to The Exorcist. Additionally, the film’s original director William Friedkin is not involved at this time. If the new project is anything like the first, prepare to be terrified. The 1973 horror classic still holds up 47 years later.
