No one’s nose is growing with this news! Deadline scoops Luke Evans has been cast in Disney Plus’ Pinocchio!

Evans steps into the dark role of The Coachman. His character lures young boys to Pleasure Island, where they magically change into donkeys! After, they are sold on the black market.

Tom Hanks stars as Pinocchio’s “father” Geppetto along with Evans! Robert Zemeckis serves as director and co-writer with Chris Weitz. Additionally, Weitz is producing the film with Andrew Miano.

Before the Coronavirus pandemic, the film was scheduled for a big theater release. However, Disney announced in November the film would exclusively move to the streaming service Disney Plus. No word on if the movie will have an additional price tag on top of the normal subscription fee. Would you pay the extra money for a live action Pinocchio?
