A comedian jumps into the world of science fiction. Deadline breaks Tiffany Haddish joins the cast of Landscape With Invisible Hand!

The film will tell the story of Earth being overrun by the Vuvv, an alien species. The Vuvv’s alien technology causes the world’s job market to fall, and everyone is left to fend for themselves. Soon, a teenager and his girlfriend decide to film their relationship and put it on the air to make money. The aliens are absolutely hooked. However, the couple soon breaks up and their fortune is on the line. Will they figure out a way to keep the money, their sanity, and lives from the aliens?

Cory Finley serves as director and writer. The film is based on M.T. Anderson’s novel of the same name. MGM is behind the project.

Haddish has been very successful in the comic arena. Only time will tell if lightning will strike twice for the actress.
