The battle of the mega monsters is officially on! Warner Bros. releases the first Godzilla vs. Kong trailer!

This is the fourth film in Legendary Entertainment’s MonsterVerse. The production company is rebooting several of the old monster films! The movie is a direct sequel to 2019’s Godzilla: King of Monsters. In the latest installment, the king reptile takes on the head gorilla in the battle of the century.

An incapacitated King Kong is seen in chains being led out to sea. As the ape awakens, Nathan Lind (Alexander Skarsgard) warns “the world needs Kong to stop what’s coming.” Additionally, he reveals a young girl is the only one who can communicate with the giant, and help save the world.

As the child and Kong bond, it’s clear chaos is on the horizon. Enter Godzilla! The king sea dinosaur rips through a naval ship like paper, and all hell breaks loose. King Kong calls out Godzilla and the fight is on.

They duke it on sea, land and air. There is also mention of an ancient war between the two. Who will come out on top?
