The next step for Phase 4 of the MCU has been decided. The official Disney Plus Twitter announced Black Widow will drop on July 9 in theaters and Disney Plus!
The film starring assassin Natasha Romanoff (Scarlett Johansson) aka Black Widow has been shuffled more than a deck of cards. First it was pushed to November 2020. Then it was rescheduled to May 7, 2021. Its original release date was way back on May 1, 2020. However, the Coronavirus pandemic had another idea. Now, the debut date is set in stone as July 9, 2021.
As with all Disney Plus big blockbusters, there will be an additional fee of $29.99 to view the movie at home. It will be available at first on Disney Premiere Access. Nevertheless, with more theaters opening in major markets, the decision to make the film available in theaters is a smart business move.
