Michael James Shaw Brings Mercer to The Walking Dead

Michael James Shaw has joined The Walking Dead, Deadline. The actor is set to bring the major comic book character to television.

Mercer is a popular character who has quite the resemblance to Mr. T! He’s strong, fearless, and refuses to take anyone’s nonsense! He dons a familiar haircut and red armor. Also, Mercer is a former U.S. Marine!

AMC is remaining tight lipped on how Mercer will join the survivors! At this time, it’s only known he will appear in season 11! This just happens to be the final season of the long running zombie series!

Shaw’s credits include six episodes of 2019’s Blood & Treasure, starring in Limitless on CBS and roles in Avengers: Infinity Ware and Avengers: Endgame.

Shaw will be a series regular! Look for The Walking Dead to premiere later in 2021 and complete in 2022!~
