Ron Livingston Nabs Role of Barry Allen’s Father in The Flash Film

Ron Livingston will be the new Henry Allen in The Flash film, according to Variety.

Livingston replaces Billy Crudup as Barry’s father. Crudup vacated the role due to a scheduling conflict. The exact plot of the film is being kept under lock and key. However, the big rumor is the story could tackle DC Comic’s iconic “Flashpoint” storyline. The few known details are the film will involve multiple timelines and dimensions with Barry’s mother’s life hanging in the balance.

Ezra Miller will reprise his role of The Flash/Barry Allen from the previous DC films. Kiersey Clemons, Sasha Calle and Maribel Verdu will star as Iris West, Supergirl and Barry’s mother respectively. Andy Muschietti will occupy the director’s chair. Christina Hodson penned the screenplay. Marianne Jenkins will executive produce. Barbara Muschietti and Michael Disco serve as producers.

Principal production on The Flash will begin later this year. Look for the film to hit theaters on Nov. 4, 2022!
